This smoothie will give you a nourishing kick start to the day. It contains lots of heart-healthy fats and protein to keep hunger at bay. The almond and coconut butter deliver a creamy texture. Almonds are also rich in Vitamin E, a fat-soluble vitamin that is uniquely suited to intercepting the damaging effects of free radicals

  1. Put all ingredients into a blender and blend.

Ingredients

  • 1 dessert spoon almond butter
  • Half an avocado
  • 1 tsp coconut butter/oil
  • 2 tbsp raspberries (or blueberries/blackberries - fresh or frozen)
  • 1 dessert spoon manuka honey or agave alternative
  • Fresh ground cinnamon or vanilla powder to taste
  • Almond milk to cover
  • 600ml water
