Smoothies are a great way to squeeze nutritious foods in without having to think too much, and the great thing is they're totally adaptable to what you have to hand and what you feel you can manage.

Aim to include a source of protein, some fruit and some carbohydrates. You can even try adding some vegetables like courgette, cauliflower or spinach as they're easily hidden among the other flavours.

 

Method

1. Prepare your ingredients.

2. Place all of the ingredients into a blender.

3. Blitz until smooth, then pour into a tall glass.

  • 3 heaped tsps Organic Protein + Superfood Powder
  • 300ml plant-based milk
  • 1 medjool date
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 tsps cacao powder
